• The mirror-cell origin story is the A.F.R.'s entrance in the main text (n.112 names them); it feeds every Marathe/Steeply installment (incl. the serial's next installment, scene 072 — Mario's birth interlude 071 sits between), the train-jumping initiation lore (pp. 732-733, 1058-1059/n.304), and the Antitoi raid (pp. 480-489).
• The Schenectady would-be suicide who "MADE THE BREAKTHROUGH" by accelerating into her own headlights is a compact allegory of the Entertainment's logic — choosing annihilating pleasure/Grace head-on; pairs with Marathe's "choose death by pleasure" argument in the serial's next installment (scene 072, p. 319).
