Mario's ONANtiad puppet-film and its Interdependence-Day screening

• What: Mario's first finished film — a kids'-puppet-show adaptation of JOI's four-hour ONANtiad, shot in Subdorm B's janitor closet with the head-mount Bolex and foot-treadle — screens annually on Continental Interdependence Day and proves more popular with E.T.A. adults than the children it was made for. Mario did the choreography and most of the puppet-work himself (someone else had "an amanuentic hand" in the screenplay) and is "closeted with Disney Leith all day" preparing it; as director he says his eight-word annual words ("Thanks everybody and I hope you like it") while Pemulis and Stice deck his Bolex with Redi-Whip. E.T.A. consensus is that Mario's parody is funnier and more accessible than Himself's own ONANtiad, if heavier-handed.
