Context
The lecture's last stop is time itself: inside the annular zone, acceleration and stasis become the same thing — the cycle spins so fast it stands still. This is the exact idea Doucette's mind refuses ("It jacklights him for the whole annular model overall"), and it rhymes with the numberless No-Time clock at WYYY (p. 183).
