Context
The spect-op essay and the draining of the Public Gardens' duck pond, November YDAU: crowds milling in rings around fallen waste, trucks ringing the geometrically round pond, and the Depend banners overhead getting "möbiusized" by the wind. Later in the scene Tine takes in "the concentric rings of pond and crowd and trucks" — the whole public sphere arranged as nested circles around debris.
