• What: yrstruly and C go into Hung Toys (Poor Tony left waiting outside, low-profile) and buy three bundles from Dr. Wo, who is unfailingly polite, icecold, and "connected bigtime." Wo takes an unusual amount of time behind his red curtain, then does the un-Wo-like thing of sitting down at the booth and asking pointedly after Poor Tony and Susan T. Cheese — sending Poor Tony "his quite best regards" and wishing him "a thousand blisses." yrstruly, jonesing, reads a "cold feeling of super station" but cops anyway; the reader, like yrstruly in hindsight, sees the trap being armed.
