• What: On the homeward bus after E.T.A. routs Port Washington, Struck joins Axford in mock-kibitzing trainer Barry Loach that their own knees are "feeling punk as well," piggybacking on Schacht's genuinely injected knee. When the Gothic-fonted leaflet mocking Keith Freer's bus-seat tryst with Bernadette Longley circulates, Longley's doubles partner storms back to where Struck and Pemulis are sitting to tell them somebody on the bus is sadly immature — the seating chart of suspicion locating Struck exactly where the reader expects him.
