TL;DR

The session where this club's JOI-murder theory arrives fully argued: the suicide scene is physically wrong for a six-foot-plus man — a microwave at counter height is how you would stage it from a wheelchair — with Marathe (or Steeply disguised as Marathe, with or without Avril) as the candidates, an Avril-staged-cover variant argued back (public spectacle is the AFR's MO; concealment is a family MO), and the panel's own strongest counters preserved (nobody in the book ever alleges murder; the wraith never says avenge-me). The gift-bowed half-full Wild Turkey on the counter: read as a sign he had not truly been sober after all, alongside the was-it-her question (the staging reading rides into the murder block).
The grief-therapist recap consolidated: Lyle's research-the-therapist advice as exactly Hal's alley (memorize the meta-book, graduate); Orin wanting grief's cliffnotes without the marathon (the finish-line image); the was-the-numbness-true debate — the panel raises whether Hal genuinely felt nothing, then converges on Hal lacking words for what he felt (the panic-stricken line read as a fiction admission).
The blind-kid question: Hal's familiarity with Moment traced to the human-interest piece on the gifted blind kid he mentors — with the live wondering whether the blind kid is a plant (not the only reason the panel has wondered).
