Context
Endnote off the DuPlessis burglary (016): the dead Canadian's entertainment console, inventoried by burglars. The screen's phrase is the fence's tripartite theory of cartridge value — rare, or "celluloid-transferred," or off-Grid — i.e. worth exactly what the InterLace dissemination apparatus can't supply. Scarcity-of-format as the whole price of film: the same economics 098's master-copies theory later raises to lethal stakes around the samizdat's read-only Master. Here it's just two thieves drooling on parquet.
