Context
The township excursus's one worked light-effect, caught mid-panorama: the sun over Heartbreak Hill wears a haze-halo, and its setting is clocked — "fifteen minutes to the nanosecond" — against deLint's high-tower court lights, natural halo yielding on schedule to institutional floodlight. The vantage is E.T.A.'s hilltop throughout; the halo is scenery as seen from the academy JOI built.
