Orin, co-pondering Helen Steeply's poser with Hal down the phone: the anti-O.N.A.N. insurgency's acts run past as a comic catalogue, and "stretch mirrors across U.S. highways" sits in the list between blowing up ATHSCME towers and hanging fleur-de-lis banners — terrorism by reflection, filed as one gag among several by a speaker who has no idea who does it or what it's for. This is the mirror-weapon (scene-side spine material in 070; the cell named in n112; the AA-mirror converse is 166's catalogued reading) as it looks from outside the know: an inexplicable item in a list of pranks.
