Context
Hal on presenting textbook-perfect Kübler-Ross symptoms to the grief-therapist and getting nowhere — the universally recognizable exam-nightmare invoked for an authority who won't define the goods. Strictly a nightmare-figure rather than dreamt material (the scope excludes dream-similes), but the roster note for 064 names it explicitly, so it's carried at the texture cutoff: the dream-genre as Hal's only available language for waking panic, two sentences before the real nightmares start.
