Endnote 64 — Trivium and quadrivium

Sketches the two classical courses of study behind the "T" and "Q": the trivium of "grammar, logic, and rhetoric" (p. 996) and, for survivors, the quadrivium of "math, geometry, astronomy, and music" (p. 996), none of them the soft options they sound like — and adds that E.T.A.'s only day off from class, Sunday, is itself a three-session day on the courts.
