The separatist ecology: the A.F.R. among the anti-O.N.A.N. cells

• What: O.N.A.N. counterintelligence files the A.F.R. first-by-alphabet and worst-by-rating in its "Alphabetical Tally of Séparatisteur / Anti-O.N.A.N. Groups" (key: Q=Québecois, S=Separatist, VV=Extremely Violent): the A.F.R. (Q, S, VV) and Le Front de la Libération de la Québec (Q, S, VV) alone carry the double-V. The F.L.Q. is "a younger and rowdier and less implacably businesslike cell than the A.F.R.," symbolically adopting Hawaiian motifs as an ironic nod that Québec is itself now a paper-only U.S. annex-territory (n047).
