What: On a Christmas-Eve crewing day, the crew buys three bundles of heroin from the Chinatown dealer Dr. Wo. Unknown to them, Wo has laced all three as payback for an earlier burn Poor Tony (with Susan T. Cheese) had a hand in. Poor Tony, sensing the trap, conspicuously declines to complain about booting last and turns his back on the skeet — signals yrstruly reads too late. Bobby C shoots first and dies horrifically (a "hotshot," blood and worse from every opening, an eye popping out) on the blowergrate. Poor Tony flees, "departed for green pastures and ate cheese" (informed) — leaving Emil marked him for de-mapping ever after.
