• What: He does not stop. At 2010h "the medical attaché is still watching the unlabelled entertainment cartridge." By 0020h on 2 April he has "rewound to the beginning several times and then configured for a recursive loop," and sits "attached to a congealed supper," having "now wet both his pants and the special recliner." He is captured — rapt, motionless, incontinent, his hot dinner gone cold under the tray — while (scene 014) his wife, oblivious, is still at the fitness center's Silver-Key Lounge unwrapping her hair and laughing softly with the other legation wives. He is incapacitated through and past the onset of his own thirty-seventh birthday (2 April). Note: the behavior is attested; the cause is not explained.
