(Third leg of the novel's dig-the-head triangle with scene 003's YG memory and Joelle's scene-178 bet.) Same scene: pen-and-paper still hasn't come, and Gately wonders whether Joelle's snapshot visit (in Erdedy's sweats) was febrile hallucination — "Unless... Joelle van Dyne's visit had been real" and the supplies are being interdicted by the hat in the hallway.
