• What: Under near-lethal electrode voltage, a Leavenworth test subject reports the samizdat's opening: a high-quality shot of "a veiled woman going through a large building's revolving doors... somebody the sight of whom makes her veil billow" — then nothing could divert him. The scene never names her; the archive identifies the veiled woman as Joelle van Dyne — an inference, not a stated fact, though consistent with scenes 104/122 and later Notkin material.
