• What: Via Calvin Thrust, Gately learns the aftermath: the plaid-hatted shooter died on the spot (a spike heel through the eye, from Yolanda W.'s stomping), so a resident death plus a spectacular gunshot wound put the Supervised Gately in acute legal danger. Residents (bar those with their own open cases, plus the fled Lenz and vanished Thrale) filed depositions ~110% supporting a self-defense/Lenz-defense finding; the House Manager physically blocked the Finest at the door invoking Protected status. The single biggest problem is the MISSING.44 Item (Green took it off a Nuck and dropped it on the lawn; it vanished). Federal agents with "archaic crew cuts" are involved because of the inter-O.N.A.N./Canadian element. Gately's private, unshared terrors: the remorseless Revere/Essex-County A.D.A. — confirmed by the White Flaggers as the man in the hat outside his door — and his unconfessable guilt over the suffocated DuPlessis (event 27).
