What: The poorly-attended interment was held under threat of rain at a budget cemetery in Veedersburg IN. Himself skipped the Indianapolis tournament and took Mario to "the first of his life's two funerals so far," acceding to Mario's request that nothing be filmed for the tennis documentary. The junior-tennis community somehow regarded it as healthy that Mario's "perfectly even smile never faltered even through tears" at the funeral. Clipperton's tranquilized, sightless parents had never known where he went (see event 1).
