Nuck

Derogatory U.S. slang of the reconfigured O.N.A.N. era for a Canadian, especially a Québécois: Pemulis sizes up "the Nuck in charge" of the Antitois' shop, a "lumberjackish" "Nuckwad" who, like "fucking Nucksters" generally, doesn't know the value of what he's holding (pp. 215-216); the novel's marker of casual anti-Canadian bigotry.
