Mario's taping function: the stroke-correction loop

Context
Mario's designated function is the pedagogy's feedback mechanism: the body's strokes, footwork, and "tics and hitches" are recorded so the athlete can watch himself and correct — stroke, image, corrected stroke. This is E.T.A.'s instructional loop in its purest form, the regimen catching the body's errors on tape so the machine can be tuned; "it's a lot easier to fix something if you can see it" is the whole coaching premise stated flat.
