Operational concealment at storefront scale. The A.F.R. commandeers the shop and dresses it as ordinary shut — "an oilskin windowshade for the front door's glass," the trilingual CLOSED / ROPAS / RELACHE signs, the Antitoi corpses "roll[ed]… in construction-plastic" and stored "for hygienic purposes" — and runs its lethal viewing-rotation behind the disguise for days, on a public street, undisturbed: "[n]o person had knocked at the door after the first hours." The op hides not by hiding but by looking closed — the most ordinary cover available, a shop with the shade down.
