Context
The founding's deepest political mechanism: in a "post-Soviet and -Jihad era" with "no real Foreign Menace," the U.S. "turned on itself" and Gentle's answer is to manufacture one — "some people besides each other of us to blame," "some cohesion-renewing Other." This is the same doctrine 072 attributes to Gentle from the A.F.R. side (the "ennemi commun"), stated here as the founding act: Canada is not chosen as enemy for what it did but because a fracturing union needs an outside to hate. Experialism supplies both the waste to expel and the enemy to expel it onto.
