Context
Pemulis dictating the game's apportionment math to Hal, from the Mean-Value Theorem lecture that is 073's biggest endnote. "From Eschaton to Eschaton" treats each staged apocalypse as one trial in a statistical series — worlds end often enough here to have a season average.
