Day two in the Trauma Wing, and the lexical possession is still running: caps-lock words Gately has no way of knowing arrive in his own brain-voice while he watches the gorgeous R.N. — and now he has a name for the phenomenon, "ghostword." And the fabric-word LISLE is a homophone of Lyle: the ghostword names the second wraith a dozen pages before he shows up.
