Scene-side anchor of the catalogued H-hit "Bain's 'corona of sweat'": the waiting-room's wall of framed student photos, inventoried by Hal as part of the room's relentless blueness, is where the raw hangs endnote 209 (marker stripped from the quote per convention). The sighting text proper — Marlon Bain frozen at the follow-through of a big forehand inside his "corona of sweat" — is endnote text, not in this scene at all; only the anchor is carried here. The corona itself joins the scene's other two: light effects that consecrate (Bain's effort-halo, Zegarelli's dental halo) or brace (the blind kid's metal one) the head they surround.
