The farewell ritual is blocked under a framed Metropolis poster — Lang's expressionism (squarely inside Madame Psychosis's just-catalogued canon) hanging as HmH furniture. The film decor resurfaces at the far end of the book in Hal's Accomplice! lecture scene (179's Metropolis still).
