Context
Buried in the sanity résumé: the optics career is still shipping product in the terminal years — anti-fog, anti-smudge window glass, sold to Mitsubishi. Glass that refuses breath and finger-writing, invented in the same household where (per Bain, n269 below) a word on a "fogged" Volvo window "cast a conjugal pall" in the days before the suicide — the pairing is ours, inferred, not either raw's.
