Joelle cleaning; the Incandenza Thanksgiving (pp. 746–747)
Avril urged Dr. Incandenza to find a way to include Joelle in a production, since she was both a film student and a now a heartily welcome honorary addition to the family.
Context
The casting pressure arrives from the Moms, on the record, at table — and in the cab home Orin ratifies it: "if anybody could have been counted on to see that the Stork needed to use Joelle somehow, it was the Moms" (pp. 747-748). Given the Legal Seafood veto two entries up, Joelle's eventual appearance in the Work enters the book here as Avril's suggestion; the raw states the urging only, and who finally moved whom stays open.
