Context
A one-line father-datum in the Eschaton aftermath: the injured Otis P. Lord delivered back to the players by "his cadaverous dad." The father surfaces only as an adjective and an errand — escorting the damaged son through a doorway — one more E.T.A. patriarch reduced to a cadaverous silhouette at the edge of the kids' world.
