Marathe at Ennet House, the Dream-Duty screening (pp. 753–754)

The cabinet's contents are scheduled for exactly the casual screening the theme dreads. Pat asks Johnette to run the donated E.T.A. cartridges through during Dream Duty after lights-out — "check and make sure they're appropriate," the only criteria being "No skin, no substances, light drinking only" — and notes they're "in the cabinet with the intakes," the same cabinet where Marathe just saw the embossed-smile cases. So the potential Entertainment is one bored night-shift viewing away from a staffer alone in an office, vetted against nudity and drinking but not against the one thing that would matter. The scene stages the weapon's delivery as pure administrative routine: the most lethal object imaginable, pre-screened for appropriateness by a recovering addict on the graveyard shift.
