The Joelle interview — locating the performer; the Master's grave named

• What: The Orin/Bain intelligence pays off: the Office locates the veiled performer of the terminal cartridge — Joelle van Dyne, now at the Ennet House halfway facility — and "Helen Steeply" intercepts her leaving St. E.'s, warning "she was sorry to be the one to tell her but that unbeknownst to her she was in almost mind-boggling danger." Under Steeply's technical interview (scene 178), Joelle describes the two scenes she performed (the revolving-door loop; the crib's-eye "I'm so sorry" monologue under JOI's auto-wobble lens) but insists she never saw a finished film and doubts a Master exists; she also flatly kills the antidote rumor the Office has carried since April (event 6): "Even in jokes he never talked about an anti-version or antidote for God's sake." Pressed on the Master, she gives the hunt its destination said aloud to the U.S. government: per the will (as JOI told her — she "never saw his fucking will"), "They were buried with him. The Masters of everything unreleased" — an "educated bet," and the grave now lies inside the annular Concavity: "It's in your annulation-zone. It's not even your territory."
