• What: The Office of Unspecified Services is the security apparatus of the American-dominated super-state O.N.A.N. Its Chief, Rodney Tine, Sr. — "Rod the God" — is the acknowledged architect of the whole Reconfiguration (the toxic territory-cession that created the Great Concavity/Convexity) and holds President Gentle's ear; Gentle "has no N.S.A. as such," because the National Security Agency, together with the A.T.F., D.E.A., C.I.A., O.N.R., and Secret Service, has been absorbed into O.U.S. (n228). The Québécois Separatist Left calls the Office "B.S.S." — the "Bureau des Services sans Spécificité."
