• What: With the abducted WYYY radio engineer as its first Subject, the A.F.R. turns the object into an experiment: head strapped, two free viewings, then blindfolded Broullîme prices each further viewing at one self-sawed digit, building a matrix to compute whether the desire to re-view can be satiated. It cannot — "There could be no index of diminishing satisfaction as in the econometrics of normal U.S.A. commodities"; for the samizdat to be "macro-politically lethal, the ninth digit of extremities had to come off as quickly and willingly as the second." The insatiability datum is the empirical spine of the war-of-appetite thesis (event 10): the object doesn't merely please, it forecloses the will to stop. See the AFR thread (event 12).
