The DuPlessis copy — the trailhead the A.F.R. follows

• When: the copy is taken in the Brookline burglary (Autumn YDPAH, 2008, per scene 016); traced by the A.F.R. through YDAU (the Antitoi raid ~9-14 Nov YDAU)
• What: The object's discoverable copy enters play through Guillaume DuPlessis, Boston coordinator of the anti-O.N.A.N. Resistance, among whose "arty-looking film cartridges" a copy of the Entertainment sat when the addict-burglar Don Gately robbed and accidentally killed him. For months the copy is hunted as possibly the missing duplicable original — Steeply speaks of "this alleged Master copy from the DuPlessis burglary," which neither side has recovered. The A.F.R. — believing DuPlessis had "received his original copies from this relative, an athlete" (i.e. Orin Incandenza) — follows the physical trail: a pawned café-au-lait maker leads to the young burglar, to a cranio-facial-pain specialist, to the Antitoi brothers' Inman Square shop.
