• What: Slumped in towels with the other exhausted upperclassmen after P.M. drills and challenge matches, Shaw is possibly asleep beside Keith Freer during the fatigue-talk; later he floats a spit-bubble of such exceptional size that half the room watches it until it pops. His and Freer's racquets fall off the bench with a clatter (little Beak and Blott scramble to restack them), and he and John Wayne dress and leave before the post-shower communal feeling dissipates. Pure ensemble texture — not a word of dialogue.
