The predatory "sponsor" and creepy-resident texture

• What: Lenz preys on newcomers under cover of the fellowship: Yolanda W. reports she'd been using "this dude" as a sponsor — same-sex-only being merely a suggestion — who told her she "always ha[s] to be on the south of him," must buy a digital watch, and made a Higher-Power-into-his-fly sexual suggestion (Gately: "Holy Christ this is Lenz"). His compulsions (his need to be north) become a tool of control over a vulnerable resident. He is broadly disliked; Gately keeps him around as a lesson in "reserved politeness to people you pretty much want to beat up on sight."
