• What: Kate is a live-in resident at Enfield's Ennet House. Per her counselor Danielle S., she "mostly Come In for weed," not the "lightweight prescription tranqs she'd listed on her Intake form." She is on a Suicidality / "Suicide Contract" with Pat, gets scrip-meds from the meds locker every morning, is spared the usual pressure to take a "humility job," and mostly stays in her bed in the 5-Woman room. She reads (a copy of "Feeling Good" curls face-down on her mattress; she is "too sick" and reading "Sylvia Plate"). She unnerves her veiled roommate Joelle van Dyne, "who made Joelle extremely nervous at the best of times," and she is the one resident who "usually won't have the juice to get up and walk away" when Tiny Ewell fixates on tattoos (she has none).
