• What: Per the Intake chart: depressions unipolar and "fairly classic" — acute dysphoria, anxiety with panic, diurnal listlessness/agitation, Ideation with/without Intent. One series of electro-convulsive treatments at Newton-Wellesley Hospital two years back. A med career — Prozac, then Zoloft, most recently Parnate (an MAOI) with a lithium kicker; Bi-Valium and Xanax discontinued, "an admitted history of abusing prescribed meds." She lists Dr. Garton as her outpatient psychiatrist. She frames herself, later, as having spent "like nine weeks feeling so bad I wanted to just about kill myself, both getting high and not" (scene 156).
