• What: Among the upperclassmen spectating Eschaton from the Gatorade pavilion, Troeltsch — having had some Tenuate, left eye nystagmic — calls the action into a disconnected broadcast-headset, deploying his announcerial trademark ("Ho-ly CROW!") on every direct hit and struggling to render the map/territory dispute in sports-broadcast clichés. When the game degenerates into a real brawl and kids pummel Ingersoll, Troeltsch alone rises wanting to intervene — Pemulis catches him by the headset cord and tells him to let them lie in their own bed. A small, telling flash of conscience beneath the broadcaster shtick. (The I-Day gala scene that evening, 081, names no Troeltsch; any presence there is inference.)
