He trades Pemulis his breakfast for filling the vaporizer and wheedling antihistamine and a drills-excuse from the nurse. On his nightstand, in bold plain sight, a Seldane bottle secretly holds Tenuate stimulant capsules he has quietly promoted from Pemulis's side of the room — the stash that detonates on 17 November (event 14).
