• What: Clenette and "the deeply whacked-out Yolanda W." come back in from the Footprints sober club (n.246) at ~2315, "in purple skirts and purple lipstick and ironed hair, tottering on heels"; at ~0000 Gately rousts the House's car-owners for the nightly car-move — Clenette among them, since she owns a Lincoln, "origins unknown and suspicious" (n.250), Yolanda along having "left personal items in Clenette's car" — and outside, the herd walks into Randy Lenz's confrontation with three Canadians ("Nucks"). Held at bay by the third Nuck's .44, she and Yolanda lie prone on the lawn ("clearly veterans at gunpoint-etiquette"); as Gately turns the fight, the two get up and circle the downed shooter, landing high-heel kicks into his ribs, "reciting 'Motha-fucka' and landing a kick each time they get to fu." That Nuck dies on the spot — per Thrust's bedside report, not shown in-scene: "expired on the spot from a spike heel through the right eye," Yolanda's shoe, shrewdly left protruding with her toe-prints inside.
