What: In the endnote's panorama of the gala's ceremonial headwear — Troeltsch's InterLace cap, Freer's Viking horns, Thode's cardboard HAT — she gets one entry: "Bernadette Longley a calpac that obstructs the view of people behind her." An endnote-only presence: the scene's main text never names her (see Dating notes on the 081 scene-list correction), but the note puts her in the audience, comically oblivious in tall festive headgear two nights after the leaflet.
