Poor Tony's aborted return to the Antitois — the shop is now a trap

• What: Post-seizure and desperate, Poor Tony Krause — who twice availed himself of the brothers' services and reckons them the one last place he might get "a bit of kindness, pharmacological credit" since the affair of the heart — walks from Cambridge City Hospital toward Antitoi Entertainment, snatching two women's purses en route so as to arrive with "liquid assets" rather than bare charity; chased up Prospect by one robbed woman's companion, he makes for "Antitoi Ent.'s discreet back door" off the dumpster alley — a dumpster he had occasionally slept in stands within toss distance of the brothers' rear exit (144). He never learns the brothers are dead and the shop is an A.F.R. base. Scene 163 confirms his fate: the "mis-dressed and severely weakened or addicted man [...] carrying multiple purses" is acquired by the A.F.R. as a test-subject for the samizdat's motivational field-tests.
