What: Per Wade McDade's relay: he and Emil Minty are "arranging with Parias-Carbo—who works for an Ennet House alum at All-Bright Printing down near the Jackson-Mann School—for engraved-looking formal invitations" — the print-stock for their scheme to lure Unit #3's incoming agoraphobics to a crowded outdoor "welcome" bash. The prank is McDade and Minty's; Alfonso's part is the connection and the press. The book's one fact about his life outside the House, and it too runs through the House's alumni network.
