O.N.A.N.'s waste-politics has sunk into folklore: the ceded territory is not a policy to these boys but a bogeyland, its horrors (the deformed births, the overfertilized fauna) the stuff of tunnel-club dares. The political map has become a nursery myth, which is how a founding crime is metabolized into the ordinary.
