The spike-in-eye is the cell's calling card, a deliberate, recognizable method of execution — not incidental gore but the recurring spike-in-eye signature the archive tracks across 083/n110 (the d-d plan's split routes it here as violence/tactics). The rusty industrial spike, a piece of the old railroads, is the insurgency's stamp on its kills.
