Marathe springs the trap: of the two types Steeply named — the mature adult who delays gratification and the child who eats candy in the moment — "which do you think describes the U.S.A. of O.N.A.N. and the Great Convexity?" The nation that names its territory a dump and its years after products is the candy-eater, and the proof is the samizdat's very illegality: to forbid an Entertainment "if you do not fear so many U.S.A.s cannot make the enlightened choices" is to confess the nation is the puerile type. The whole parable lands as a national-character diagnosis, the political twin of 072's "someone killed your U.S.A. nation." (The samizdat-as-free-choice argument is entertainment-self's; landed here is the national-diagnosis it serves.)
