Context
Even the game's roster leaks the present into the past: the American bloc is "a theoretical Anschluss designated AMNAT" — the same word ("Anschluss") the Separatism primer used for the real continental Reconfiguration (070) — and among the sovereign Combatants sits "an independent cell of Nuck insurgents with a 50-click Howitzer and big ideas." The A.F.R.-shaped anxiety of the actual O.N.A.N. present has infiltrated a game meant to be about a vanished bipolar world; the Canadian cell is a Combatant option before n126 even names the pattern.
