Marathe turns U.S. imperial method against U.S. policy: killing Québécois to stop the Entertainment will fail exactly as killing "Colombians and Bolivians" failed to stop narcotics, because "the Brazilians replaced the dead of Colombia." The argument is political and structural — a demand-side collapse cannot be solved by supply-side violence abroad — and it indicts O.N.A.N.'s whole habit of exporting its internal problems as foreign interdiction wars.
